Project Gabriel rummage sale May 22

It's the time of year for rummage sales, and what better way to dispose of the results of your spring cleaning than to donate unneeded household objects and clean gently-used clothes to the Project Gabriel rummage sale.

Project Gabriel is an organization that assists young mothers with unplanned pregnancies who are in need yet wish to keep their babies.

Project Gabriel is part of Woman's Choice Services, a pro-life organization based in the western suburbs. The efforts of many Woman's Choice Services and Project Gabriel volunteers has made an important difference in the lives of many women in the community and their children.

The rummage sale is a major fundraiser for Project Gabriel, and a portion of the proceeds also will be given to Resurrection Catholic Community for the use of their facilities.

The rummage sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 20 to Saturday, May 22 in the west parking lot of the church campus and in Cornelius Hall (downstairs at parking lot level), part of the Resurrection building at 30W350 Army Trail Road in Wayne.

In addition, those who wish to donate items to be sold at the rummage sale may drop off their items in the west parking lot from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 17, and Tuesday, May 18. All types of items are accepted, but make sure clothes are clean and gently used.

Interested persons are invited to participate by donating items for the rummage sale and by visiting the sale and purchasing a few affordable treasures for a worthy cause.
