West Aurora 3, Bolingbrook 1: The Blackhawks improved to 2-5. Chris Richter batted 1-for-3 with an RBI and picked up the win on the mound. Tom Martin hit a solo homer in the sixth inning.

Marmion 3, Montini 1: Mark Peters allowed 1 run and 3 hits over 6 innings and scored 2 runs as well for the Chargers (3-4, 1-0). Joe Wulff added 2 hits and 2 walks.

College baseballAurora 11-4, Edgewood 10-8: The Spartans (10-7, 2-2) split the doubleheader in Aurora. Anthony Amedei's suicide squeeze in the bottom of the ninth inning plated the winning run in Game 1. Kirk Williamson went 3-for-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, 5 RBI and 3 runs scored.
