Ill. man killed in Wis. container accident
MADISON, Wis. -- The Dane County coroner's office is identifying the Illinois man who was killed when an semitrailer overturned and crushed the man's SUV.
The victim is 60-year-old Robert J. Earling of Reddick, Ill. The coroner's office says Thursday he died of blunt force injuries sustained in the accident.
It happened about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on Interstate 90 just south of Madison.
Earling's passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a Madison hospital.
