Scranton Gillette buys magazine

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Scranton Gillette Communications acquired the assets of the former Decor Division of Vance Publishing Corp.

The acquisition includes all of the assets related to Furniture Style magazine, including Home Fashion Forecast, and Design & Décor magazine, formerly Accessory Merchandising.

In March 2009, SGC acquired Décor titles Residential Lighting and Hospitality Lighting from Vance and launched its Design Group.

SGC is a 104-year-old business-to-business publishing company based in Arlington Heights.
