Barrington Chamber offers community map, other resources

The new Barrington Area Regional Map is now available at the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce office, 190 E. James St., in Barrington.

BACC is a central clearing house of important local resource information, pamphlets, guides and more, all free to the community. Multiple copies of the map are available for a small fee.

"As a go-to resource, we are proud to house a number of publications that are in demand to local residents and visitors to the region," said Suzanne Corr, BACC president/CEO.

"Our Welcome Neighbor bags are popular with local Realtors and residents, and our Barrington Area Map is one of the most requested publications we offer."

BACC has free Welcome Neighbor bags, regional magazines, community guides, area maps and business resource information available to the public in its front lobby. The chamber lobby is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The BACC Regional Magazine and Resource Directory includes a listing of the 800-plus area chamber members and their contact information, a Barrington Area Dining Guide section and more.

The Barrington Area Community Guide includes the member listings, as well as important local phone numbers and community resources. Both publications are updated each year. The chamber also houses copies of several other community resource guides that provide pertinent information on the community and region.

In addition to its free publications, the BACC website, www.BarringtonChamber.com, offers numerous online resources, including a business directory, important information for starting a new business, job openings, local hot deal coupons, and more.

The site is actively used in the region and receives millions of hits each year.
