Learn to appeal assessment

Palatine Township Assessor Terry Kelly will host a seminar, "How to Appeal Your Property Assessment With the Board of Review," at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at Palatine village hall, 200 E. Wood St.

Homeowners who filed an appeal with Cook County on their 2009 property assessments can file an additional appeal with the Board of Review, a separate office from the Cook County Assessor. Board of Review staff will head the session.
