Kids clothing resaleThe Tri-Cities Mothers of Twins and Triplets Club spring resale is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Mooseheart field house, Route 31 and Mooseheart Road, between Batavia and North Aurora. It features clothing (infant through preteen), shoes, toys, videos, outdoor equipment, bicycles, strollers, baby furniture, maternity clothing, books and other items. Refreshments will be sold. Admission is $1. Yellow-tagged items are half price from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visit tcmottc.org or call (630) 375-7511.Geneva shrimp fundraiserThe Geneva High School football team Shrimp Fest dinner fundraiser is from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the school, 416 McKinley Ave. Dinners include six jumbo fried shrimp, baked potato, coleslaw, dinner roll and cocktail sauce, delivered to your car. Tickets are $12 and available from any player or by contacting Coach Rob Wicinski at rwicinski@geneva304.org.Used book driveGeneva High School's Students Against Destructive Decisions club will collect used books until Friday for a March 20 sale. Books can be dropped off at the front entrances of all schools. The sale is in honor of Violence Prevention Week, and proceeds will go to Lazarus House shelter in St. Charles and Mutual Ground domestic violence shelter in Aurora. Anyone who donates at least five books will be entered in a raffle for gift cards. To enter, write your name and phone number on a sticky note on the inside cover of your donations.Fair Map info availablePetitions to place a referendum in November on the Illinois Fair Map Amendment are available at the Batavia Chamber of Commerce office, 106 W. Wilson St. The deadline to sign the petition is April 1. The Fair Map Amendment would change the process of redrawing Illinois' legislative districts after the decennial federal census.
