Lambs farm offers spring family events
Spring is just around the corner and Lambs Farm is gearing up with events for the whole family!
Friday Night Fish Fry: Lambs Farm is frying up the catch of the day on Friday nights, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Country Inn Restaurant. The all-you-can-eat battered cod fillets are browned to perfection and paired with salad bar, soup, hush puppies and your choice of potato pancakes, baked potato or French fries, all for $11.95 per person.Lambs Farm Night at Baker's Square:Baker's Square in Libertyville will donate 10 percent of its total sales (including dine-in, take out and pie purchases) to Lambs Farm on March 9. Stop in between 5 and 8 p.m. Knowing that a portion of your purchase benefits Lambs Farm will make your dinner and a slice of pie taste even better.Farmyard Opens:The Lambs Farm Farmyard will open on weekends starting March 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and daily starting April 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come and enjoy Lambs Farm's famous Farmyard. Meet Mrs. Wiggles, the 600-pound pig with an affinity for Bavarian Cr#232;me doughnuts and naps. Climb into the petting zoo with goats, sheep and lambs. Check out the llamas, alpacas, cows, horses, ducks and more. The Farmyard is expecting some new lambs in April, as several mothers are pregnant. When you're done visiting our animal friends, take a ride on the old-fashioned carousel or the train. Then challenge your friends and family to a round of mini golf! The Easter Bunny is visiting Lambs Farm for the Bunny Brunch on Friday, April 2, and Saturday, April 3. Meet at the Country Inn Restaurant for a delicious meal and then head over to the garden patch for some Easter fun, including activities and a photo with the Bunny! The fee is $15.95 per person (children 23 months and younger eat free) and $7.95 for activities.Easter Brunch:Lambs Farm is hosting its annual Easter brunch on Sunday, April 4. Come celebrate the holiday with your family.
