Naperville man charged with indecent solicitation

A 25-year-old Naperville man, Michael W. Bakker, has been charged with indecent solicitation of a child and aggravated criminal sexual abuse, police said Thursday.

Police said they arrested Bakker, of 5S543 Tartan Lane, about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday as he tried to meet with an underage girl he solicited through a social networking Web site.

A search also was conducted at his home during which police recovered additional evidence, authorities said.

Police said the arrest came as the result of a two-month investigation during which authorities said they discovered Bakker had prior sexual relations with the minor.

He was transported to DuPage County jail.
