Obama's logic on economy is flawed

How stupid does the Obama administration think the American citizens are? The aforementioned administration instituted the massive stimulus plan, after which we saw most of the economic indicators showing the economy in worse shape than before the plan was put into effect. Did the Democrats in power try to explain why the stimulus plan failed so miserably? Of course not. Instead, the spinmeisters came up with the mantra that the plan was a huge success, because had it not been done the country would have been in a depression worse than the big one in the 1930s.

Using their logic, Lovie Smith could say that he is a great coach if his quarterback were to throw four interceptions in a game because had he chosen to use another quarterback six interceptions would have been thrown. When the Cubs lose 90 games this season Lou Piniella can claim to be a great manager because with someone else running the show the Cubs would have lost 100 games.

After the November elections when the Democrats lose control of both houses of Congress, the administration can tell those who put them in office how smart they were to do so because without Obama and his gang many more congressional seats would have been lost.
