Villa Park Recreation offers Rock 'N' Roll University

The Villa Park Recreation Department is offering Rock 'N' Roll University, a fun eight-week, one-hour band-format rock class.

Students of similar age and ability will be brought together by members of an expert teaching staff and taught a minimum of two popular songs and one original to be performed in front of an audience. Each student will be given a professionally recorded CD of their original song upon graudation.

The concert will be held Sunday, Feb. 6 (location TBA) and a graduation concert will be held Sunday, March 13.

Rock 'N' Roll University meets Sundays, Jan. 9-March 13 at Perry's Music Center, 154 E. St. Charles Road. Practice times will be between noon to 7 p.m. The program is for those ages 9 and older and the fee is $229.
