Planned Parenthood protest suit settled

Protests outside of a Planned Parenthood facility in Aurora will be limited in size, location and participants must give advance notice, city officials announced this week in a recently reached federal lawsuit settlement.

The agreement calls for Families Against Planned Parenthood to notify the city beforehand if 10 or more people will be present, and all demonstrations are to be held adjacent to the facility, rather than encroaching on nearby homes.

A grievance policy also was created to resolve future concerns without litigation.
