Genevabull; Someone slashed a tire on a Toyota Camry between 7 and 7:45 p.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Windsor Court, police said.bull; Brody B. Armstrong, 25, of the 100 block of North Sixth Street, was charged Jan. 27 with possession of cannabis (. 02 grams), according to a police report.bull; Anthony Kostrzewa, 20, of the 2S800 block of Meadowview Road, Batavia, has been charged with three counts of felony burglary and three counts of misdemeanor theft, according to a police report. He is accused of stealing a 30GB iPod out of a vehicle in the 300 block of Wakefield Lane, and stereos from two cars in the 2200 block of Newport Lane and Paddock Court, on Dec. 21. The items were discovered in his vehicle during a search by Aurora police Dec. 22 during an investigation there. The Geneva charges were authorized Jan. 22, and the arrest warrant was served on Kostrzewa at the Kane County jail.bull; Rojine Warfield, 43, of the 800 block of Bellwood Avenue in Bellwood, has been charged with felony retail theft, and misdemeanor unlawful use of a theft detection shielding device, according to a police report. He is accused of stealing clothing from Sports Authority, 1777 S. Randall Road, around 2:45 p.m. Jan. 22. Police say he used wire cutters and a large magnet to remove security alarms from 13 pieces of clothing; five were found in a restroom in the store, and eight North Face-brand items were found in the trunk of a vehicle parked behind the store. Police also arrested the driver of the car, Leroy Thomas, and charged him with misdemeanor retail theft. Thomas, 34, is of the 5200 block of West Washington Boulevard, Chicago.
