Thanks, from the ex-wrestling coach

I would like to thank Naperville Central High School wrestling coach Rob Porter and Athletic Director Marty Bee for their recognition of me at the Naperville Central-Glenbard North dual meet. I was lucky enough to be able to observe the many positive influences the wrestling program has had on so many athletes in their chosen careers.

I understand after coaching wrestling for 40 years how important wrestling is for the development of individual self-achievement and at the same time being a part of a team. I have watched over the years the positive influence and many successes of these young men throughout their life. The efforts of Coach Porter and the Naperville Central Athletic Department do not go unnoticed.

I look forward to following the continued success of the Naperville Central wrestling program. Go, Redhawks.
