Chicago men accused of shooting woman holding baby
CHICAGO -- Two Chicago men have been charged with shooting and wounding a woman as she held a baby in her arms.
Chicago police allege 22-year-old Dontaneous Salley and 20-year-old Jeremiah Moore were fighting with a rival gang on the North Side last week when they opened fire. They then fled the scene.
A 21-year-old woman holding her child in her arms at a nearby bus stop was hit in the leg. She was treated and released from an area hospital. Her 1-year-old child wasn't injured.
Salley and Moore are each charged with one count of aggravated battery with a firearm.
It was not immediately clear whether they have attorneys.
