Elginbull; A home invasion occurred at about 10:11 a.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block Dakota Drive. Police said a 90-year-old man heard a knock at the door and found a man holding a package. The resident answered the door and the man dropped the fake package and began punching him. He stole his wallet and knocked him to the ground. The suspect is described as a 5-foot-9 white man between 18 and 20 years old.bull; Osvaldo L. Isaac, 35, of the 0-100 block of Sweetbird Lane, was charged with possession of a controlled substance Monday, after police pulled him over at Highland Avenue and Lynch Street for a cracked windshield and found 2.7 grams of heroin in his car. Isaac's bail was set at $20,000 and his next court date is Feb. 4 at the Kane County Judicial Center.bull; A business owner told police Monday that a Jan. 14 deposit of $198 in a bank drop box in the 200 block of South Randall Road was missing and possibly stolen, reports said.bull; About $1,300 was reported stolen from a purse that was found in the 700 block of Spyglass Hill Court at about 6:15 a.m. Monday, reports said,bull; Someone threw a landscaping brick through a bedroom window in the 300 block of South Belmont Street at about 6:27 p.m. Monday and also used a rock to damage a 2000 Kia Sephia parked in the same area, reports said.Carpentersvillebull; Tiyanna M.
