Sox offering auction plan for fans to purchase tickets

The Chicago White Sox are giving fans an exclusive opportunity to bid on tables located in right field outside the Miller Lite Bullpen Sports Bar and Premium Lower Box tickets through online auctions, which are open now through Friday on whitesox.com.

The locations available through the auctions are for Prime and Premier games, which ordinarily have not been available to fans for purchase.

The auction will feature premiere tickets to Opening Day and games vs. the Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Cubs and Boston Red Sox, among other teams.

Ten different four-seat locations in the Premium Lower Box section are available for all Prime and Premier games through the online auction.

The opening bid on each set of tickets will be $70 per ticket for Prime games and $85 per ticket for Premier (plus additional processing and service fees).

The opening bid on Miller Lite Bullpen Sports Bar 3-game packs will be $500 per table for Prime games and $700 per table for Premier (plus additional processing and service fees).

Participants must be 21 or older to enter the bar and to sit in the outdoor seating area.
