Buffalo Grove High School blood drive today

Buffalo Grove High School's Senior Class Board is hosting its annual blood drive in conjunction with LifeSource Blood Services from 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. today in the school gymnasium.

Buffalo Grove High School is located at the corner of Arlington Heights and Dundee Roads in Buffalo Grove. The community is invited. Potential donors ages 16-80 must weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. A mini-physical is part of the procedure, in which a nurse will take the pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and test hemoglobin levels. The donation itself takes 10 minutes and the entire procedure, from registration to refreshments, takes about 45 minutes.
