Boeing tests inside of new 787

EVERETT, Wash. -- Boeing shows off its first 787 with the passenger cabin installed. The plane features higher ceilings, adjustable LED lighting and windows that darken with the touch of a button.

The mid-cabin of the plane is loaded with nine racks of electronics where engineers will test the plane.

Everything in the passenger cabin must be checked before the Federal Aviation Administration will certify the plane is ready to go into service.

The aircraft is the third 787 that Boeing has built. Boeing is using the first six planes in its flight test program. It plans to make the first delivery to Japan's All Nippon Airways late this year.
