Two hurt in five-car accident in Naperville
Two people were injured in a five-car crash Tuesday afternoon in downtown Naperville.
Cecelia Eckles-Willoughby, 30, of Petersburg was driving north on Washington Street just north of Jefferson Avenue about 12:15 p.m. when she apparently took her eyes off the road to reach for a water bottle, Cmdr. Mike Anders said. She struck the vehicle in front of her causing a chain reaction.
Eckles-Willoughby was taken to Edward Hospital where she was treated and released.
One other person involved in the accident sustained minor injuries.
Eckles-Willoughby was cited for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Her 2007 Chevrolet Impala was towed from the scene.
