College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving franchise hits major milestones

The Northwest Cook County College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving franchise recently hit several key milestones. Owned and operated by Erica Fine and Matt Paison, the franchise recently surpassed $1 million in annual business. That success moves the franchise into a new tier within the corporate structure.

“Matt and I are grateful to our dedicated team of H.U.N.K.S., who have helped us achieve this significant milestone in our first full year of operation,” Fine said. “Word-of-mouth and positive reviews from our customers have helped accelerate our growth. We look forward to greater success in 2024.”

The team was recently awarded a second territory covering Northern Cook County. A move to a larger warehouse space is in the offing and an Arlington Heights presence at 21 S. Evergreen St., Suite 200-103, are part of the team’s expansion.

“We are also now licensed as an interstate mover, allowing us to provide broader service to clients moving out of state,” Fine said, noting a key differentiation between licensed movers and other companies.

“We have a Department of Transportation number indicating that our drivers and vehicles meet federal specifications. We have conducted and passed a mover safety audit and are licensed with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Association. This gives our customers a higher level of comfort as they place their trust in us to care for their belongings.”

College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving has more than 200 locations across the country. In addition to traditional local and long-distance moving services, as a hauler, the company is dedicated to reducing landfill waste by building relationships with local charities and service organizations and moving donated goods from homes and businesses to organizations that can re-purpose them for a greater good.
