Luncheon variety show and auction

See the positive exuberance of local youth on Sunday, Feb. 28, at Barrington United Methodist Church, 98 Algonquin Road, in Barrington. Starting at 11:45 a.m. in the church's Fellowship Hall the youth of CC Life (Christ Centered Life) and the Fellowship Group will host a pasta luncheon, variety show and auction to raise funds for youth activities, service projects and mission trips.

Multitalented and eager to serve, these young people will be put on a lively variety show of singing, dancing and instrumental music and auction off services for "hire," such as baby-sitting, lawn mowing and technical support.

In addition to the youth, adults in the congregation have offered services and items such as dance and softball lessons, piano tuning, massages, Bulls tickets and theme baskets. Plus there will be an entertaining round of "Bible Jeopardy" with youth challenging adults.
