MagiQuest coming to Yorktown

LOMBARD - MagiQuest, a new interactive live-action game retailer, opens April 1 in a 19,000-square-foot location at Yorktown Shopping Center. Participants select a magic wand and become players, known as "Magi," in the enchanted fantasy world and use personalized magic wands to unlock the secrets of the kingdom. Jim and Kirsten Legner are opening this location. They are 10-year-residents of Clarendon Hills. Denise Weston, one of the original founders of MagiQuest, is a psychologist, author and expert on children learning through play. To play, players must first buy a reusable magic wand for $16.95. The desired amount of game time then sells for $4.95 for each 30-minute block of time.
