Small electrical fire closes Harry Caray's for night

Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse in Rosemont closed Tuesday afternoon after an electrical fire with an ice machine, a restaurant official said. The restaurant at 10233 W. Higgins Road should reopen for lunch by 3 p.m. Wednesday, said General Manager Allison Strauss.

Strauss said the fire department checked out the problem within minutes of being called at about 3 p.m. Tuesday. A health inspector will be at the restaurant at about 8 a.m. Wednesday morning to give it a clean bill.

"We should be up and running by tomorrow night," Strauss said.
