Angered by Rolling Meadows overnight parking ban

Today, Saturday, my blacktop sealer man did a fabulous job on my drive. I didn't know beforehand the exact date mainly because of the weather.

Imagine my amazement to find out that for the first time in 54 years I cannot leave my car on the street overnight, in Rolling Meadows, unless I call during office hours Monday through Friday.

NO EXCEPTIONS I was told: " It's the law."

Did I miss something here? When did this become a law? Who voted to make this a law? How many people will be as surprised and inconvenienced as I was to be required to park my car elsewhere overnight or conceivably get a parking ticket?

Hmmm!
