Barringtonbull; Ako M. Johnson, 17, of the 200 block of Sioux Avenue, Carpentersville, was arrested Jan. 8 and charged with theft. Reports said he took an iPod from another student's desk Dec. 8 at Barrington High School. His court date is Jan. 29.bull; Miguel Farias, 17, of the 400 block oof June Terrace, Barrington, and a 15-year-old boy were arrested around 1 p.m. Jan. 7 at Laverne Street and Raymond Avenue and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Their court date is Jan. 29.bull; Burglars broke into a 1998 Ford Windstar in a lot at Village Church of Barrington, 1600 E. Main St., between 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 16 and stole a black Mickey Mouse Fanny Pack with gift cards, credit cards, and $130.bull; Thieves stole a laptop computer valued at $1,280 during a party at a home on the 100 block of Tudor Drive Jan. 2 or 3. bull; Thieves stole a cell phone valued at $250 out of an unlocked gym locker at Barrington Middle School, 215 Eastern Ave., between 2:30 and 4 p.m. Jan. 6.
