Suspect in Chicago murder arrested in New York

The FBI says a 20-year-old Chicago man charged in a 2008 murder has been arrested in New York City while doing his laundry.

David Bell was arrested earlier this week at a public laundry by FBI special agents and New York City police. He had been the subject of a nationwide manhunt since March.

Bell was charged with first-degree murder in January 2009 in the stabbing death of Isiah Stroud.

Authorities say Stroud was killed in December 2008 on Chicago's North Side after a fight with Bell.

Bell is being held without bond in New York City, pending his extradition to Illinois.

It was not immediately clear whether he has an attorney.
