Chamber Music on the Fox offering free concert passes to Gail Borden cardholders
Chamber Music on the Fox is gearing up to host its ninth season of intimate, engaging classical chamber music concerts.
As a way of promoting greater accessibility, it is offering free concert tickets to each and every one of its concerts this year.
Made possible by funding from the Palmer Foundation and a partnership with the Gail Borden Public Library, Gail Borden card holders will be able to register for concert tickets through the library's website beginning six weeks before each concert date.
The first concert will be "A Viennese Rivalry: String Quintets of Brahms and Bruckner" featuring CMOTF Chamber Players at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at The Ashbury in Elgin.
"We're always interested in finding opportunities for people who may not have experienced a live chamber music concert before," said Sara Sitzer, Chamber Music on the Fox executive director. "This partnership with the Gail Borden Public Library, made possible by the Palmer Foundation, is a perfect way to offer those opportunities to our community."
