Why are we sending tax dollars to Haiti?

I don't understand why President Obama is able to commit $100 million dollars to Haiti when thousands of us in the United States are still losing our homes. There are families still in crisis and help has not been forthcoming as promised.

That $100 million would save thousands of homes from foreclosure.

These mortgage companies have benefited from the aid that the feds have provided, however a large number of those mortgage companies have not provided any relief to their customers.

What's worse is the public has clambered to help another country financially while the same taxpayers who are losing their homes and have helped the banks bring about hefty profits are the same taxpayers that have not been helped.

So, let's go help another country. You people clambering to help the Haiti have all your priorities in the wrong place.

Just look in this paper. The foreclosure columns are unbelievably long. No one is clambering to help our own people. Obama and all the robotic followers have lost all patriotism and sympathy for our own people, only to shift it to another country.
