Cops searching for missing Hanover Park man

Hanover Park police are looking for a 53-year-old man who is missing. Police said Richard J. Wieting was reported missing by family members after being last seen in Hanover Park Tuesday.

He is described as 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes and a piercing in his left ear. He may have been wearing a U.S. Postal Service uniform. Deputy Chief Tom Cortese said there's no evidence to indicate foul play and that police are thoroughly investigating the matter because "this isn't how the gentleman normally conducts day-to-day business."
