Juveniles charged in burglary

Buffalo Grove police charged two juveniles with burglary after a resident came home and found two male youths in his home about 11:45 a.m. Jan. 21.

Upon seeing the resident, the youths, one of whom was holding property from the home, fled and got into a black, two-door Honda parked in front of a neighbor's home, the police report said.

Responding officers observed the described vehicle and made a stop; the resident identified the occupants of the car as the subjects in his home, the report said. Those charged were Northbrook residents, ages 15 and 16.
