Kane Countybull; Luis A. Diaz, 20, of the 0-99 block of Alameda Drive, Carpentersville, was charged with misdemeanor battery Jan. 24 after a fight broke out around noon in the stands at 10 Indoor Soccer Center, 37W950 Mason Road, Elgin, according to a police report. A woman sitting in the stands said she asked other women sitting behind her to stop kicking her, and a fight broke out, involving the spectators and the soccer teams that were playing, the report said. Diaz pushed her backward into the stands, and hit her face, causing a broken finger and injuries to her mouth and nose, it said.bull; Two handguns -- one a Smith Wesson, the other a Rossi -- were stolen out of closets in a house in the 40W600 block of Stoneridge Court, Elgin, between 3 p.m. Nov. 25, 2009 and 1 p.m. Jan. 25, according to a police report.
