Man imprisoned for truckload of cocaine
EAST ST. LOUIS -- A California man has been sentenced to more than a dozen years in federal prison for having nearly 200 pounds of cocaine when police stopped his truck in southwestern Illinois.
Thirty-nine-year-old Myles Paul of Lynnwood, Calif. pleaded guilty last October in federal court in East St. Louis to possessing cocaine with plans to deal it. He was sentenced Friday.
Illinois State Police arrested Paul last June during a traffic stop on Interstate 55 in Madison County. Federal grand jurors indicted him six days later.
