Palatine bull; Herman D. Huffman, 32, of the 3400 block of North Salem Walk, Northbrook, was arrested Jan. 5 at Rand and Old Hicks roads and charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine). bull; Chandra Ulbert, 25, of the 100 block of West Brandon Court, Palatine, was arrested Jan. 5 at Home Depot, 825 E. Dundee Road, and charged with theft. Reports said employee Ulbert took customers' gift cards after they used them at the store. Between October and Jan. 5, she voided the transactions and use the gift cards to purchase store merchandise, reports said. Value was estimated at $200.
