Downers Grove North 62, Elgin 36: Alex Bell recorded 13 points to lead the Maroons (0-15) but they fell at the Wheaton North Bill Neibch Falcon Classic. Maggie Powers and Jessica Ramirez added 7 and 5 points, respectively.
Women’s basketball
Judson University 62, Webber International University 60: The Eagles used tenacious defense as they forced 18 turnovers en route to a 62-60 victory. Ricquel Butler (14 points), Hailey Cnota (12 points, 9 rebounds), and ShaRonda Huff (10 points, 9 rebounds) paced the Eagles with double-digits. Emily Ragsdale chipped in 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
