Bulls will start Hamilton tonight

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau announced at today’s shootaround that newcomer Richard Hamilton will be in the starting lineup for tonight’s preseason game against Indiana.

The move comes as no surprise. Hamilton has been a starter throughout his career. During his first seven years in Detroit, he never came off the bench.

This means Ronnie Brewer will remain part of the successful “Bench Mob.” Brewer figures to see time at both shooting guard and small forward, and said he’s played with Hamilton at times during scrimmages.

The Bulls play the Indiana Pacers at 7 p.m. today on CSN.
