Lake Zurich collecting toys for tots

For the past several years, Lake Zurich police and village officials have supported and collected toys for the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program.

This holiday season, the police department once again is a drop off point and central collection location for donations.

Collection boxes can be found throughout the village, and donations will be collected as needed.

Early donations are encouraged to ensure gifts are received by those who are less fortunate.

Collection boxes are at 20 sites this year:

Ÿ The police station

Ÿ The American Legion hall

Ÿ The Ela Area Public Library

Ÿ Kinder Care

Ÿ The Lake Zurich Family Arts Center

Ÿ The Lake Zurich public works headquarters

Ÿ Peapod

Ÿ Walker Brothers Pancake House
