Accident closes lane on I-90 near Arlington Heights

A minor-two car accident shut down one eastbound lane on I-90 near Arlington Heights Road for a short time on Thursday afternoon. State police officials said they expected both lanes to be reopened soon.

Arlington Heights emergency vehicles responded to the accident, which occurred at 1:52 p.m., and one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

State police officials expected both lanes of I-90 to be reopened within the hour.
