Buffalo Grove student wins scholarship honor

Simon Campos, a Wheeling resident and senior at Buffalo Grove High School, was selected as a 2011-12 National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) Scholar this fall for his outstanding academic accomplishments. Campos was also named a Commended Scholar in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program. Each year the NHRP identifies nearly 5,000 outstanding Hispanic/Latino students as NHRP Scholars.
