How dare Obama breathe and eat

A recent Fence Post letter criticizing how the Obamas have decorated the White House for Christmas shocked me into a new revelation. Here I had been thinking that it was only right that this lovely home — home of the head of state — should shine in this most beautiful of seasons. But now I see that the president’s every action is in fact a betrayal of the American people and American principles.

Think of it: Every time President Obama leaves the country on a diplomatic mission, he is neglecting his little daughters, reneging on his fatherly duties. Every time he eats produce grown in the White House garden, he is snatching jobs away from Midwestern farmers who could be supplying the presidential household. Every time he uses paper products in the restroom, he is destroying forests. Every time he exhales, he is contributing to greenhouse gases.

I see now that the only solution is a Republican president in 2012.
