Chicago Wolves fall to IceHogs

ROCKFORD — Mark Mancari produced a pair of second-period goals to get the Chicago Wolves within a goal, but that was as close as they got to the host Rockford IceHogs in a 6-3 loss Friday night.

Mancari upped his team-leading goal total to 9 for the season. Rookie forward Anton Rodin netted the other goal for the Wolves (9-9-1-3).

Perennial all-star Darren Haydar, who assisted on Mancari's second tally, moved within 1 point of becoming the 22nd American Hockey League player to reach the 700-point mark.
