Texting-driving law needs enforcing
The law against texting and driving went into effect this year, but I continue to see it every minute I am on the road. I feel like even though it is a law, police still aren’t putting enough into enforcing it properly. It is still taking people’s attention off driving, causing accidents, causing them to ignore green lights to go. It gets scary riding a motorcycle and having people switch into your lane and almost hit you because they were too lazy to interrupt their text to check their blind spot.
I see this more and more every day. The fact that police officers are not enforcing it enough just lets people think they can get away with it even more. Police need to do something about this ASAP.
