Car hits pedestrian in Palatine

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle about 7:15 p.m. Saturday evening at Northwest Highway and Benton Street in Palatine. A car struck the person who was taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Police were at the scene investigating and further details were not available.
