Santa, fireworks in Deer Park Nov. 11

Santa will arrive by fire truck at Deer Park Town Center at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11.

Santa’s arrival will be followed by a 20-minute fireworks show. This year, in honor of Veterans Day, Deer Park has planned a special Red, White and Blue grand finale.

Santa and the winners of the “Letters to Santa” writing contest will flip the switch and help light up the center from the gazebo at 20530 N. Rand Road in Deer Park.

Families will be able to visit with Santa until 8:30 p.m. in the gazebo. Kids will go home prepared for Santa’s arrival with a treat for his reindeer on Christmas Eve.
