Tax help for military personnel:

Free personal state and federal income tax preparation are available to active duty military personnel through the Military Tax Service Preparation Project offered by Illinois CPA Society volunteers in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service. The program is available to those who have recently returned from or are still serving in a combat zone or qualified hazardous duty area. Volunteer CPAs help military families take advantage of the unique tax benefits, exclusions and filing extensions available to them.
