Free family movies in Arlington Heights

The envelope, please. Here are the movies that will be shown at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, for Arlington Heights' Movie with the Mayor: Elf (PG), Rio (G) and The Smurfs (PG).

The annual event with Arlington Heights Village President Arlene Mulder takes place at The Arlington Theater, 53 S. Evergreen Ave., in downtown Arlington Heights.

Admission is a nonperishable food items that will be donated to a local food pantry. For free popcorn bring a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots. No stuffed animals, please.
