Nordstrom plans to open second Rack outlet in downtown Chicago

Nordstrom Inc. plans to open a second Nordstrom Rack outlet in downtown Chicago, expanding the number of stores that sell its unsold merchandise at a discount.

The new Nordstrom Rack will open later this year, the Seattle-based retailer said in an e-mailed statement today. The retailer operates 112 namesake stores and 69 Nordstrom Rack locations.
