Democrats are caving to corporations

Poor Cecile Powell. As usual you have about half the story correct much as your defense of Bill Clinton no matter what he did wrong. First of all the corporations that you criticize so vociferously put their money where the power is. It now resides with the Democrats because they control both Houses of Congress and the presidency, so if you look at the money corporations have been sending to members of Congress, the Democrats have received more than twice what the Republicans have received the last three years. Our government is brainwashing us to believe that it's bad? That is incongruous at best.

The problem in the Gulf was an accident where 11 men lost their lives - no more nor less. The rich and powerful are the members of Congress where there are 67 millionaires in the Senate and more than twice that many in the House. There are the ones writing the laws and creating the loopholes so they don't pay taxes.
