Holiday musical performance:

A group of about 15 junior and senior students from Antioch High School’s National Honor Society and fine arts department will ring in the holidays in Vista Medical Center East’s lobby on Friday, Dec. 2. The students will put on a free classic holiday musical presentation, to include a small instrumental jazz ensemble and a group of vocalists, from 5 to 7 p.m. This is part of the “December Service Extravaganza” for Antioch’s NHS students. In addition to the hospital performance, the students will organize gifts at One Hope United, make tie blankets for a teen mother organization, volunteer at local grade school holiday functions, and play games with senior citizens at a senior living center. Vista East is at 1324 N. Sheridan Road, Waukegan.
