Masked man invades Willowbrook-area home, subdues owner
A masked man forced his way into a home near Willowbrook early Wednesday, subdued the homeowner, and made off with valuables taken from the residence, police said.
The home invasion was reported about 3:05 a.m. in the area of Hampshire Lane West and 91st Street, the DuPage County sheriff’s office said.
“The only description of the suspect is that it was a male and he was wearing a mask,” according to a news release from Sheriff John Zaruba. “Updates will be made when information becomes available.”
The sheriff’s office would not release additional details, including whether anyone was hurt and whether a suspect was in custody or at large.
